Cassandra Mangum

Dance Instructor

Cassandra has been dancing at Kings Dance Center and has been a member of its competition dance team, Dancers Unlimited, since the age of four. She has trained extensively in several forms of dance, including jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, and tap, and has taken part in a number of duos, trios, solos, and master classes. She has also received multiple scholarships in the course of the competition team’s travels throughout the state, including auditioning for opportunities such as Hollywood Icon, the Laker Girls, and Stiletto Entertainment; winning several Celebrity and VIP awards at Hollywood Connection; and training at a dance intensive in L.A. with nationally-known teachers. Some of Cassandra’s additional dance experiences include performing at Disneyland, at numerous local events, and participating in KDC’s beautiful rendition of “The Nutcracker” for three years. She has danced at KDC for 15 years, was a cheerleader in high school, has been assisting and teaching at KDC for the past five years, and is currently a member of the dance company “Altered Modalities.” She enjoys sharing her love of dance and performance to the students of KDC.
